Client overview.

Will Wood is a master craftsman from Malvern, Worcestershire. He learned the trade alongside his grandfather, spent five years in France restoring châteaux, hunting lodges and centuries-old listed buildings, and worked on everything from churches to the Royal Shakespeare Company's flood-damaged cottages. Today his business, Wood's Bespoke Furniture, designs and builds one-off furniture, bespoke kitchens and bathrooms from sustainably sourced British hardwoods, serving clients across the UK from his Worcestershire base.

The brief.

More than ten years ago, Will came to us with an idea. He wanted to stop building other people's projects and start his own business, and he asked us to build the website. What that turned into is the longest client relationship on our books, covering every part of his brand as the business grew. After a decade together, Will is genuinely part of the furniture here.

1. The logo and brand.

Every trade brand starts with the mark on the van, and we designed Will's from scratch: a logo that carries the craftsman feel of the work, built to sit comfortably on signage, social profiles, invoices and the website. From there the brand grew consistently everywhere his customers meet it.

2. The website: WordPress on Divi.

We designed and built woodsbespokefurniture.co.uk on WordPress using the Divi builder, so pages stay easy to update as the business evolves. The structure was planned around how people actually search: dedicated pages for bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, furniture design and house renovations, each one both a service pitch and a landing page for its own local search market. The site showcases the work, tells Will's story, and points every visitor at one action: getting in touch.

3. Local SEO and the Google Business Profile.

Malvern is where Will's customers are, so Malvern is where the visibility work went. We set up and optimised his Google Business Profile from scratch and built the site's structure and content around local search. The result is exactly what a local trade needs: when we checked in August 2026, Wood's Bespoke Furniture held four separate first-page results for "bespoke furniture malvern", with the homepage, furniture design, about and renovations pages all ranking at once. That is the kind of coverage that makes a small business look like the obvious choice, and it is the same playbook we document in our local SEO statistics guide.

4. Social media and brand growth.

Bespoke furniture is a visual trade, so we set up Will's social media presence, Instagram above all, where finished pieces, workshop shots and before-and-afters do the selling. Combined with the website and reviews, the social presence turned a one-man workshop into a recognisable local brand, the approach we recommend to every visual trade in our small business social media guide.

The result: booked solid.

Wood's Bespoke Furniture is now fully booked up to six months in advance. For a craftsman whose product is his own two hands, that is the definition of enough demand: a pipeline long enough to plan around, built on rankings, reviews and a brand that compounds while he works. Will's success is the version of marketing we like best, a decade of steady work turning one person's idea into a business with a waiting list.
